These understudies regularly have a truly difficult time with progressing from a genuinely simple educational plan into their new very thorough educational plans. A smooth progress is required so as to win a degree from their particular schools. Without that smooth progress, the understudies will begin to feel overpowered, and the weight will conquer them. Another contributing component of weight in Ivy League schools is the way that the costs of going to these schools coordinate the burden. The normal educational cost for an Ivy League school ventures into figures over fifty thousand every year. Awards, grants and money related guide have an exceptionally considerable impact in full time students’ lives. If they somehow happened to get unsuitable evaluations, at that point they would lose everything. Being compelled to figure out how to pay that much for their instruction would pressure them into dropping out, successfully demolishing each high yearning that understudy once had. Despite the fact that the Ivy League understudies have colossal command over weight, the weights of advanced education like cash and causing immaculate evaluations, to can prompt the disappointment of an in any case flawless understudy. It doesn't make a difference whether an understudy is taken on a fundamental junior college, state college or an Ivy League school, understudies will be confronted with constrained circumstances. For a junior college understudy, the weights of agonizing over not being completely prepared for the difficulties of school, or just not having the money related intends to pay for it, will introduce themselves. Having command over how weight influences them, and having the methods for state colleges, doesn't promise you will be prepared for the sentiment of being lost in the group as opposed to being a person. Despite the fact that you would expect Ivy League participants are great, once in a while the weights of satisfying that standard can overpower the understudy. International Trade Research Opportunities

Question: Discuss about the International Trade Research Opportunities. Answer: Introduction: The objective of research is identify the scope of opportunities for the initiation of business of Go Bike Inc. in the countries of Belgium and Switzerland. Research seeks to analyze the business environment of both the countries to consider the expansion. Competitor environment of Belgium: The market of motorcycle in Belgium in the year 2012 witnessed much newly registered motorcycle. The turnover of motorcycles is about 90% in the province of Buenos Aires and city of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe and Cordoba. Many new comers has witnessed increase in the sales of the motorcycles and the newcomers are witnessing the potential in the motorcycle market of Belgium. The market decline in Belgium is slowing down and it is expected that the growth of motorcycles in Belgium will increase (Rezaei et al., 2013). Top ten motorcycles brand in Belgium: The Belgian motorcycle market has Chinese brands as the newcomers in the motorcycle market. The strongest newcomer of motorcycles in the Belgian market is Renault Twizzy and the accession of bikes such as Bramo, Zero motorcycles, Govecs and the Spanish Jotagas is remarkable (Latiers, 2015). In the decreasing market share, some of the motorcycles have to give up their market shares. Piaggio continued to be the market leader despite the decline of the market registration. The brand KTM is entering in the top ten rank for the first time in Belgium. Suzuki and Dukati fell out of top 10 ranking. The motorcycle company in Belgium consist of classes of on and off classes of road motorcycles which include moped and scooters. The market dynamics of the motorcycles in Belgium depends upon the combination of various factors such as economic, demographic and environmental regulations. The registration of motor bikes propelled Belgium to seventh place and has an overall growth rate of 5.9% since 2015. The growth is further enhanced by the increase in the demand of the bigger bikes. The market of motorcycles is expanding in the new segments such as the Rivale. The gross domestic product of the Belgium is lower as compared to Switzerland and due to which the consumers producers would not be able to spend on the luxurious bikes and hence manufacturing the bikes with reasonable price would be advantageous to gain the market share. Competitors environment of Switzerland: The Switzerland offers a growing market for high quality motorcycles and there is the market for high quality and innovative motorcycles (Wolf et al., 2012). There are some regulations imposed by the government to include 30% of the local parts in the motorcycle, which would affect the sales of the motorcycle of the companies operating in the country. Motorcycles in Switzerland areas sold through two channels that is through the retail stores and hypermarket and through the dealers (Plus, 2016). There are three major brands of motorcycles in the country occupying about 50% of the market share. Honda ranks first in this regard. The market of motorcycle in Switzerland consist of various models. The sales of the motorcycle fell in the first few months of this year. However, the Swiss motorcycle manufacturer, Motosuisse recorded an increase in the new registration of motorcycles (Williamson et al., 2013). The concept of environmental consciousness is a contributing factor in Switzerland as the bikes which are electrical in nature has the economic alternative to the consumers and it do does not consume any fossils or fuels. This will not lead to the greenhouse gas emission and this affects the scope of the motorcycles industry in Switzerland. The market for motorcycles in Switzerland is booming and the demand for motorbikes is running particularly high for motorbikes. Go Bike Inc would face tough competition from feline motorcycles whose bikes are the synthesis of modern designs and extensively use manufacturing process and modern materials. The bikes are highly sophisticated which combines the new technology. The motorcycles of the Go Bike Inc would face competition in terms of technology and the designs. The Go Bike needs to modify its designs and adopt the sophisticated technology which entering the motorcycle market of Switzerland. If the Go bike Inc establishes the business in particular region, then the presence of the domestic competitors automatically cancels the advantage in terms of the factor cost, cost of production, home market preference. The Go Bike needs to adopt to the different international strategy to compete against the other companies available in the Switzerland. The gross domestic product in Switzerland is more than the Belgium, and therefore it would be advantageous to produce the bikes, which involves sophisticated technologies, as the competitors of motorcycle are well equipped with the features, which are desired by the customers. The Switzerland is following the trend of electric motorbikes and the market of motorcycle has huge potential. There is a high concentration of suppliers of motorcycles in Switzerland and they produce more or less standardized products. Recommendation: The Go Bike Inc should make the expansion in Belgium as the newcomers of the motorcycles business are witnessing increasing sales in the coming years. The market is growing at 59% and it gives the Go bike an opportunity to ride the growth in densely competitive market. There is also an opportunity to diversify the product offered by the company as the scoters and moppets are very popular in Belgium. In Switzerland, the company has the opportunity to sell its high technologically superior products. Therefore, it is recommended that the company should enter both Switzerland and Belgium market. Conclusion: After the analysis of two countries, it is concluded that both the countries would provide Go Bike Inc. with the opportunities for the exploration of business. The Switzerland is more technologically advanced and has a liberal government system as compared to Belgium. On the other hand, Belgium offers more opportunity to the company for growth and expansion. If the company enters in business in both the countries then it will give the company to sell from technologically superior products to moppets. Reference: Camarinha-Matos, L. M., Afsarmanesh, H. Unexpected Love free essay sample

Love Off the shores of the Atlantic Coast in South Carolina, was a man by the name of Jeremiah. Jeremiah was a very shy, but adventurous man. In addition to doing small cleaning duties at the local market, he loved to explore the ocean. Jeremiah didn’t have a stable income, but when he saved enough he bought himself some scuba gear. To him that was his second job. He always found exciting valuables on the oceans floor, such as old artifacts, which he kept. He also would find many jewels such as gold, rubies and sapphires. Having not much of an interest in jewelry, he sold them cheap to the local jewelry store. Although, there was one gem he always wished he could have; Theresa Stone, the jewelry store owner. Her eyes gleamed like the morning sun. She had the body of an Olympic Goddess. Her hair was smooth like rabbit’s fur. We will write a custom essay sample on Unexpected Love or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page She had it all going for her. But Jeremiah, so madly in love, was always too star struck to make a move. â€Å"G-good m-morning Ms. Stone† stuttered Jeremiah. â€Å"Oh good morning Jeremiah! Find any stones this morning? † said Ms. Stone in excitement. U-uh yes! Yes I did. I found a small ruby. † â€Å"Excellent! How much you want for it? † asked Theresa. â€Å"O-oh no charge Ms. Stone. † said Jeremiah. He wanted to tell her that being in her presence was more than any amount of money she could have paid him, but of course he thought too low of himself. â€Å"Jeremiah † Theresa said shaking her head. â€Å"You can’t keep giving me free valuables like they are worth nothing! I’ve seen where you live, you must need the money. † She was right and Jeremiah knew it. Jeremiah lived in an old, rusty shack down by the beach. The shack looked as if it was beaten down by giants. Jeremiah had been giving Theresa most the gems and valuables he found while diving for free for quite some time now. Just hoping that one day she would realize how madly in love he was. â€Å"Ms. Stone my income in fine and these treasures are gifts out of respect I have for you. † Said Jeremiah with a face as red as a tomato. â€Å"Oh well Jeremiah I appreciate the gifts. They’re always beautiful and elegant. † â€Å"O-of course Ms. Stone-â€Å" â€Å"Please Jeremiah, call me Theresa† â€Å"Of course Theresa†¦ Have a fine day. † Jeremiah said with a grin of pure happiness. As Jeremiah left the store he heard a voice call him name. It was Theresa bolting out of the store. â€Å"Jeremiah! † exclaimed Theresa. â€Å"Could I ask you a favor, and I know you do already so much but this would mean a lot. † Anxious to hear the proposition Theresa was about to lie on the table, he nodded. â€Å"Could you by chance find me a pearl from an oyster? I-I’ve never seen one and we don’t carry pearls in our store. I just thought if you by chance see one.. † â€Å"Oh of course! † shouted Jeremiah. I find them all the time! I’ll have one to you by the weekend! † And with a smile as big as the Eiffel Tower, she turned and headed back into the store. The problem was, although only Jeremiah knew it, he lied. He has never in all his years of scuba diving found a precious pearl from an oyster. Puzzled, Jeremiah was trying to understand why he lied to Theresa. Surely she should have known how rare it is to find a pearl from an oyster around these shores. Mostly these shores are known for collecting treasures not producing them. Today was Wednesday. If Jeremiah really wanted to win Theresa heart he had to complete this obscene task. He also didn’t want to find any ordinary pearl; he wanted to find the most impressive pearl a woman have ever seen. When he arrived at his home he stood in front of the shack, thinking back on Theresa’s words. I’ve seen where you live, you must need the money. † Jeremiah took a glance around the shack. Parts of the roof missing, holes in the floors, water barely dripping. â€Å"Maybe I really do need the money†¦Ã¢â‚¬ He said to himself. He grabbed his scuba gear and set off for the long journey of underwater adventure. Walking t o the shore, he still pondered the thought of; â€Å"What if I really did keep all those treasures and sold them? I could have so much more. † But then he came back into reality, and knew that if sacrificing all that money meant acquiring Theresa’s love, then it’s worth it. Spending days in and out of the water, Jeremiah had found many treasures, more than he would acquire in maybe 3 months at a time, but still no pearls. He had searched oyster after oyster, but still nothing. He had found a couple small pearls but he wanted to impress Theresa with one so dazzling, it looked as if it belongs to a queen. It was Friday morning and Jeremiah went to set off one last time. He flipped up oyster after oyster, nothing. He became so frustrated and so determined he began ignoring all other treasures he laid his eyes on, only in search of the precious pearl. Oyster after oyster he began to become dissatisfied and upset that he could not please the women he loves. As he was about to come up to the surface he spotted one last oyster shell. He picked it up and threw it in frustration. After the cloud of sand vanished, there lay, one of the most gorgeous things he ever laid eyes on. It was the pearl. This wasn’t just any pearl. This pearl was big. He swam over to the oyster and picked it up. He rushed to the surface of the water because he knew the store where Theresa would be waiting was about to close for the night. He got out of the water, dried off the water from his body, grabbed and polished the pearl, and rushed to the store. When he reached the store Theresa was just closing down, and her head hanging in disappointment. Jeremiah banged on the door in excitement. â€Å"Theresa! Theresa! † exclaimed Jeremiah. With a great grin on her face she rushed to open the door. Jeremiah barged in and showed her the pearl. â€Å"I have here the second most beautiful thing I have ever seen. † Said Jeremiah â€Å"What’s the first? † Theresa said in curiousity. â€Å"You. † Jeremiah then pulled her in close, and gave her the kiss he been dreaming of all his life.

Connected Love John 14 15 25 Religion Essays

Connected Love John 14 15 25 Religion Essays Connected Love John 14 15 25 Religion Essay Connected Love John 14 15 25 Religion Essay and you can non order person to experience emotional love. Jesus makes these promises to those who love him yieldingly, who are doing love, who understand love is action, non simply words or feelings. Think about the difference in these two domestic scenes: The hubby pess up in the life room after eating a superb repast prepared by his married woman, shouts to her in the kitchen as she s making the dishes, Excellent repast Hun . In the other scene the hubby softly appears at her side, dishrag in manus, to assist. We have all sorts of expressions that express that we do understand this, one being, actions speak louder than words. The nazarene offers these confidences of life to those who love him with actions of obeisance, by maintaining his commandments. But merely as we need to be careful non to accept a limited definition of love as being simply emotional, we besides need to be careful non to settle for a limited definition of what Jesus means by maintaining his commandments. There are people who take Jesus words to love him by maintaining his commandments really, really earnestly, but unluckily halt at merely 10 commandments, losing the all important eleventh commandment of Jesus when he said I give you another, that you love God with all your being, and that you love one another as I have loved you . These people are so busy loving Jesus by obeying righteous regulations that they appear to everyone else like they are the church thought constabularies or the Christian Gestapo. Clanging cymbals and small love. The 11th commandment is based on our love for and relation with God in Christ, we love each other as Jesus has loved us. Jesus gave this as a new commandment non to replace the old Big Ten, but to supplement them and set them into a new context. To reply the inquiry of how we are commanded to love calls for us to understand how Jesus loved us, and several words to depict his love for us come instantly to mind: compassion, credence and forfeit. He had Compassion for the sick, the square, the hungry, the imprisoned, the castawaies, the unloved and unlovely. His glowing love was apparent in every measure he took from his baptism in the Jordan to his declaration to the stealer on the cross. He had Acceptance because he accepted adult females, kids, work forces, Gentile and Jew likewise, unsmooth and ready fishermen. He accepted them all as saints and feeding and imbibing with evildoers caused Jesus to be challenged by the unloving righteous. But here two thousand old ages after he rose once more we know that Christ was the victor of that challenge. At the extremum of his ministry of proclaiming God s love with compassion and credence, surrounded by crowds heartening his entry into the holy metropolis, Jesus set out on the last stairss of the ultimate manner of loving us ; stairss taking to this 3rd point of love ; his Forfeit on the cross. A Sacrifice in and of love, that brought from the Father new life, non merely for Jesus but for all who live out their love for him as the risen Christ. It seems pretty clear so that Jesus makes his offers of both the Holy Spirit and of his ain staying presence to those who live out their love for him in actions of compassion, credence and forfeit. Jesus promised to be with those who love Him, and Christ is present with us, right here, right now. That is why we are here, to run into with him, to pull upon His promise of being with us, to hear what He has to state to us, to hear what He continues to name us to make in populating out our love for Him in service. We are called to be adherents of Jesus, but we are non expected to be adherents in our ain strength. We are besides powered to be His adherents, energized and given life through the promised Advocate, Helper, Holy Spirit. We are sustained and comforted by the really presence of Christ with us, and in us, and us in Him. We do nt cognize to the full, ca nt cognize wholly where this journey with Christ will take us, but we can be certain that it will be interesting, and carry throughing. On top of this we can besides be certain that He will carry through His promise of support, strength, and even life ageless as He accompanies us. We can take comfort from this. If we are His, He is of all time willing to take us by His Spirit unto all truth. We can come with our questions, demands, jobs and at times, despairing state of affairss. His forbearance is infinite. We can number on his changeless working onward to the ultimate fulfilling of His intent for each one of us. He has called us to be His adherents, and He has powered us to be His adherents, so be filled with the Holy Spirit in a connected love to Jesus.

Prevention of Sepsis in the Clinical Setting Research Paper

Prevention of Sepsis in the Clinical Setting - Research Paper Example Similar treatments are used for the cure of both sepsis and septicemia since both of them are normally associated with the presence of aggressive bacteria in the body system of a patient. This requires treatment using strong antibiotics to fight the infection. Patients may also be admitted in ICU for a while so as to monitor the treatment of the infection. Patients suffering from sepsis may experience multi-organ failure since the inflammation spreads and generates a cascading sequence of medical problems as the body tries to fight off the infection (Brozanski, 2003). Prevention of Sepsis There is a common term people in the medical field love to use and it goes, â€Å"Prevention is better than cure.† This is quite true since curing an infection is expensive both on the hospital and the patient. It requires a use of resources that would otherwise be used for other reasons. This therefore calls for infection control a discipline that targets the prevention of healthcare-related infections. There are a number of factors that may lead to the spread of infections in a clinical setting. The infections maybe from patient to patient, from staff to patient, from patient to staff, and from staff to staff (Dyson & Singer, January 2009). There are a number of ways of preventing sepsis, but the most common and effective way is by ensuring hand hygiene, and this is done by constant hand washing. Hand washing In the clinical setting, hand washing is commonly known as the primary weapon of fighting infections. The main reason for hand washing is to reduce microbial in the healthcare setting so as to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections. Hand hygiene may be a major problem in gigantic health facilities in which several patients are treated and in rapid succession. Infection control is meant to reduce the spread of infection and provide a safe environment for every patient (Riedeman, Guo, & Ward, 2003). This has become extremely necessary due to the emergence of anti biotic resistant organisms. Examples of antibiotic resistant microorganisms include methicilin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant Enterococci (VRE). It is vital to note that there is evidence that shows that removal of antibiotic resistant organisms (AROs) from the hands by washing with detergent or soap and water is less effective than by the use of an antiseptic agent. For that reason, an antiseptic agent must be used in high risk areas within the clinic, with high risk patients especially those suffering from immune-deficient diseas

Essay on Abortion Essay Example for Free

Essay on Abortion Essay Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. If a woman falls pregnant and she does not wish to go through with the pregnancy then she may choose to have an abortion. Abortion is a controversial issue, some people say it is ok to abort a baby but others are strongly against it. Sometimes people are against it because they believe it is wrong but some are against it because of their religion, their background and their up-bringing. People who are for abortion may have had one and therefore think it is ok or they may know someone who has had one. In this essay I will discuss the arguments for and the arguments against abortion. An argument in favour of abortion is if the woman was raped. If a woman was raped then she would often not want to keep a rapist’s child. Also she would probably be scarred for life, even without the baby. If she had the baby she would be reminded of the rape every single day of her life. When the baby gets older he/she would want to know who his/her dad was when he/she saw that every other child at school had a dad and he/she never, unless the mother has another partner. Secondly, the mother should be able to terminate the pregnancy if she is told that her unborn baby is going to have a disability. If your baby was born with a disability then you would struggle to cope, as would your family. When the baby grows older he/she may have difficulties in school and may even get bullied because of his/her disabilities. It would be possible to abort this baby as every parent wishes for a good, happy, normal life for their children. Lastly, a reason for a woman to have an abortion is if she is under the legal age of consent, sixteen. A young woman under sixteen may not be able to cope on her own and may not be able to provide the maternal and emotional support the baby needs. The girl also may have to leave school for a little while to take care of the baby which would make her fall behind on a lot of school work. She may have the pregnancy terminated because she may have wanted to go to college or university to study further. I feel that she should have the chance to live her life and be free without having any major responsibilities, like having to look after a baby. However, even though a woman may have a perfectly good reason to have an abortion she would still be killing a human life. Some women think they are doing the right thing at the time but when it comes to a later stage in life, many of them can regret their decisions. It would probably be at the back of their mind- they would think about it when they got the chance to. They would probably think how their lives would be different if they had had the baby. Furthermore, there are many people in the world that cannot conceive for many different reasons and would do anything for a child, therefore they would adopt. Instead of a woman having a termination because she think she is unable to cope then she could have the baby and then put it up for adoption. Sometimes in these situations women have the baby and they often change their mind about having the baby put up for adoption and they keep their baby. Of course if the woman still does not want the baby she may have him/her put up for adoption for another family to take care of. Lastly, if the woman is old enough and responsible enough to have sex then she should have to take responsibility of a pregnancy that results in her actions, even if this does mean having to leave school or to leave a brilliant job to raise a child. Any woman should have to take care of a baby because she knew what she was doing and knew what could be the consequences of her actions. Therefore she should not be allowed to terminate her pregnancy. Having researched the topic fully presented three arguments for abortion and three arguments against abortion, my opinion is that it should be legal but for one reason only – if the baby is going to have any sort of disability. In every other circumstance, it should be illegal because, as I said in one of my points, many couples are unable to have children of their own and this would give them a good chance to have a baby of their own.

Symbols and Symbolism Essay - Characters as Symbols in The Great Gatsby

Characters as Symbols in The Great Gatsby   Ã‚  Ã‚   People hold different things to be symbolic. Dove and peace, a rose and love; they are simple things yet widely symbolic. Symbolism is commonly used in literature to change or deepen meanings or instill a different meaning to the mind of the readers. The reader is forced to think, make connections, and succeed in adding a new meaning to the novel. In The Great Gatsby, Fitzgerald uses symbolism in the form of his characters and to develop the theme, the corruption of the American Dream.    All of the characters are symbolic of different classes in American society, from the richest to the poorest. Through the characters, Fitzgerald characterizes all the hopes and dreams of people living during the Jazz Age. As is typical of humans, none of the characters are satisfied with what they have. Each character wants more than what they are getting out of life. Tom and Daisy Buchanan represent "old money"; they seem to have it all: wealth, place in high society, a family, and all the advantages that come with being wealthy. On the surface they appear to be what the American Dream is all about; however, they are both dissatisfied with their lives, themselves, and each other. They are a classic example of the Dream's corruption because in spite of all they have, they are still seeking the true luxuries that each person wants from life: love, peace, and true happiness. Both Tom and Daisy are indifferent to the suffering hopes and dreams of all those around them. "They were careless people....they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money...and let other people clean up their mess" (Fitzgerald 188). A clear example of their careless... ...ife were for all the wrong reasons. It is here that he really begins to appreciate Gatsby and the purity of his dream. In Nick's opinion, Gatsby is "worth the whole damn bunch put together" (Fitgerald 162). Nick offers insight into a world in which the true American Dream is all but extinct.    Fitzgerald successfully used his characters as symbols to develop the corruption of the American Dream. Individually, the characters are symbolic of the various classes in American society; collectively they represent the dissatisfaction of achieving the American Dream. Each class defines the Dream differently, but the material aspects are all the same. The American Dream is increasingly corrupt; and it is harder to find individuals who realize its true meaning.    Work Cited Fitzgerald, F. Scott. The Great Gatsby. London: Penguin Books, 1990.

If the employee feels motivated by the excitement or reward, they will strive to Increase their performance. Increased performance, In turn, Increases customer satisfaction. With both employees and customers satisfied, all levels of the organization will then be satisfied. If satisfied, the employees and customers will remain loyal to the organization.Employees will also be more apt to remain loyal if they are aware of any possible challenges and given direction. All of these roles will help evolve and preserve the compass culture, with little culture or low productivity could greatly benefit from internal marketing. Internal marketing is also achieved through quality management training. This is a form of training that will enable the staff to see the cycle between employee relations and producing quality products or services. Communication with employees will increase heir knowledge, which in turn creates greater awareness and allows for the expression of opinion.Along with communication and awareness, incentives can greatly affect attitude, knowledge, and the willingness to offer an opinion. Some incentives available are positive worki ng conditions, salary recognition, and personal growth. Positive internal marketing looks to adjoin departments which will increase harmony and further improve communication. Overall, the main objectives of internal marketing are to keep the internal stakeholders satisfied and motivated. In turn, as an end result, it will keep the external customers satisfied. It will also improve employee relations and core competencies.Core competencies are defined as the strengths and advantages of a business. These competencies allow a company to expand, but should be unique enough where they cannot be replicated. All internal marketing will affect the external outcomes of each business. When the internal strengths are matched with external opportunities, all needs of customers will be met. Therefore, organizations should convert any internal weakness to strengths and all external threats into opportunities. Internal strengths ND weaknesses should be analyzed for insight on accomplishing any int ernal goals. It will also open awareness for advantages in achieving external goals. A review of employees and production will allow someone to spot possible advantages or impediments. A review of the financial ratios should be conducted to compare with other competitors. Possible external opportunities would be gaps in the market where no company is actually serving. This will allow for a new market or growth opportunity. Possible threats would be any competitors or new products. Most successful businesses not only consistently analyze their marketing, but also look to create a customer centered business. This is done by starting with the customers instead of starting with the product. Starting with the customer is creating a business' actions to support sales and staff to meet the specific clients' needs. More simply put, it's putting the customer first. Same positive result. The strategies are based around creating a quality product and correctly responding to complaints and inquir ies. This is achieved through seven steps that are completed at the business level. The first step is to communicate your central philosophy simply but meaningfully. A few short words shouldn't be hard to remember but mean the business. The second step is to elaborate the company's core values. This is a definition of how the customers, employees, and vendors should be treated at all times. The third step is to reinforce your commitment continually. The more often it is stated, the better it will stick. The fourth step is to make it visual. If an employee sees the philosophy and commitment in every day surroundings, it will become second nature. If the customer sees the same, they will begin to realize what the company strives on. The fifth step is to make it a focus during orientation.Orientation is the time where new hires take the key elements of the business away from the table. If it is mentioned in orientation, they will know the importance. The sixth step is to train, support, hire, and enforce. Some employees need to be taught and encouraged to follow new ways of thinking and acting. This will, in turn, generate loyalty and enthusiasm amongst customers. This is typically done through training, learning, coaching, observation, and feedback. The final step is to instill the idea of including the world. It creates the actions of going above and ended. Customer's decisions are based on a five step process. This process consists of problem recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post purchase behavior. Interactions with a company can be placed anywhere in steps two through four due to impact factors. These impact factors consist of past experiences, cognitive bias, individual differences, personal relevance, and escalation of commitment. Past results of a product will determine if the product will continue to be purchased. If the result was positive, then the action will be repeated. If the result was negative, then the action will be avoided in the future.Cognitive bias consists of many factors. Belief bias is the overconfidence on prior knowledge. Hindsight bias is when one is ready to explain the inevitable. Omission bias is omitting any info that may be perceived as risky. Confirmation bias is that the customer observes what they expected. Individual differences are based on socioeconomic status, age, and cognitive abilities. The older generation may be more confident in decision making because they have more ability to apply strategy. The socioeconomic status is meaning that some may eve less access to education and resources so they are not informed enough to make a decision.Personal relevance comes from a person feeling that their decision matters. When they feel this way, they are more likely to decide. They want to see the importance of their actions. Escalation of commitment is simply continued loyalty. Decisions, it's time to investigate the effectiveness of the marketing. This is done by various investigation techniques. One way is through search engine optimization. This is the ability to gauge the company's popularity as compared to other companies. It tracks how many times internet users have clicked on the links for the particular site.Another option is through quarterly revenue. This compares revenue against marketing campaigns. This will inform you of what actually makes the product sell. Surveys are a basic way of questioning how people feel. Surveys are done in a variety of ways, but if sent via email, there are certain services that are able to track how many of the sent emails were opened. From that number, they can they track how many went into the website. All of the options for data collection are sent through a marketing decision purport system. This is a system that is used to interpret and evaluate data.

Honor in Henry Iv, Part I Â Falstaff vs. Hotspur

Honor In Henry IV, Part I Ââ€" Falstaff vs. Hotspur According to F. Scott Fitzgerald, The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function. Indeed, very few people have this quality, the playwright William Shakespeare being one of them. In many of his plays, Henry IV, Part One among them, Shakespeare juxtaposes different worldviews, ideologies, and even environments. His characters usually provide a clear example of a split among them in one of many perspectives. One of his characters in Henry IVÂâ€"FalstaffÂâ€"is first seen as an endearing, uproariously funny scoundrel and later reveals himself more of a lowlife with his view of honorÂâ€"he seems†¦show more content†¦He says I like not such grinning honor as Sir Walter hath: give me life, which if I can save, so; if not, honor comes unlocked for, and theres an end. (V, iii) Thus, honor is, as Falstaff says, nothing more than a word, for it expresses a concept, which can be c onveniently twisted to support whatever side of any battle that one is on. Hotspur, on the other hand, is always seen as honorable even though he has caused this whole war; there is no way, therefore, for anyone to correctly say what brings honor and what dishonors. The second time the word honor appears in the play, it is on the lips of Hotspur, who is damning the King and urging his father and Worcester to redeem / [their] banishd honors and [to] restore [them]selves... (I, iii). The reader can easily see Shakespeares notion that the concept of honor and its embodiment seldom come together in the reality of a single personÂâ€"certainly the way that Hotspur wants his father and uncle to redeem themselves (by dethroning the king) is not very honorable, yet his honor is from battles won in the kings name. So despite his treasonous thoughts, his honor from battle remains with him for the rest of his life, as even the prince calls him valiant. (V, i) Both Hotspur and the King believed in the undegenerate chivalric conception of honor, which was a lofty one. Under it, trial by battle, and war, became religious affairs. Hotspur also talks of honor as a symbol for a trophy of victory: heShow MoreRelated The Character of Falstaff in Shakespeares Henry IV, Part I Essay1876 Words   |  8 PagesThe Character of Falstaff in Henry IV, Part I      Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Shakespeares genius in character and plot development is exemplified in two of his most complex history plays, Richard II and Henry IV, Part I.
